Norsonic Calibration Laboratory
Norsonic Calibration Laboratory is accredited by Norwegian Accreditation, according to NS-EN ISO/IEC 17025, to perform calibration of acoustical and mechanical quantities. Norwegian accreditation is a signatory to multilateral recognition agreements gathering more than 40 countries, through the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), ensuring broad international acceptance of measurements performed by accredited laboratories. Accreditation requirements are the same in each country participating in the mutual recognition agreements.
We are the only Norwegian calibration laboratory which is accredited to perform measurements of acoustical quantities. We also have mechanical quantities in our accreditation scope, and we offer accredited calibration of:
- Sound level meters
- Measurement microphones
- Sound calibrators
- Accelerometers
- Tapping machines
- Reference sound sources
We offer periodic verification of these instruments and issue statments of conformance according to national and international product standards.
Norsonic Calibration Laboratory calibrates measurement instruments from most manufacturers.
The laboratory’s calibration and measurement capabilities (CMC) are given in our accreditation certificate, see CAL022.
