NorVirtual Instrument and the basic version of NorXfer are free of charge if you have purchased a Norsonic sound level meter. Other software applications require a valid licence key, either as a USB dongle or a registration code.

All software can be tested for 60 days using DEMO as both username and licence code. After this period, a licence must be purchased. The license code registration field is found in the “Help” menu.

Note: Software updates within the same main version are free of charge. Upgrading to a new main version (e.g. v1.xx to v2.xx) requires a new licence unless you have a maintenance agreement.t.

Firmware should only be upgraded if you are advised to do so by your local representative and on their instructions.
