The possibilities
With the flexible possibilities of the very intuitive Nor850 building acoustics software, a variety of configuration options for laboratory applications can be implemented:
- Control any number of channels – in the form of multi-channel racks and/or any combination of Nor145 / Nor150 / Nor140 sound level meters via LAN or WLAN
- Control of the Nor265 microphone booms via the 850 software
- Control of sound sources via the Nor850 software
- Control multiple speakers with individual noise generators
- Control of loudspeaker movement devices
- Automatic reading of the variables temperature, humidity and air pressure
- Manual or automated test runs – freely configurable test sequences, including appropriate control of the sound sources and swivel systems
- Networking of all measuring channels, sound sources and swivel systems via LAN / WLAN – with access to all rooms from every PC that is in the network (e.g. in the control room)
- Database, archive, sorting and search functions make it easy to find old projects/measurements (with versatile search options, e.g. by client, single value, component descriptions, etc.)
The figure shows a typical setup for airborne testing with microphone booms, two parallel loudspeaker system for level measurements and one dedicated loudspeaker system for reverberation time measurements.
